When we removed the rotting carport cover, we were left with this huge slab of concrete. Sure it was nice when I needed to do some carpentry, but otherwise it was bright and not exactly nature-ific. So after a crazy amount of searching on Pinterest and Google Images for ways to cover it up, I decided to get simple and painted one long fern front on it, then my husband pitched in and did a coat of concrete sealer over it. Bam. It's still concrete, yes, but it feels a bit more like home.
