When we first got back into the city, we quickly built a 12'x4' duck house in the back corner of the yard - like, on day one. After all, you can't just pack 4 ducks up and not have a place for them to sleep that night!. The house itself was fine...but with the summers getting hotter, wasn't the coolest shelter and took up a LOT of prime real estate for gardening, etc.. So while this was an easy build, we moved this to the north side behind the shed - much smarter!
