Heirloom Chickens: Dust Bath

One of the lovely things about the duck & chicken run back on our farm was that it was big enough for the girls to create and enjoy their dust baths! Watching them go into an almost trance-like state getting all warm in the sun and spreading out their feathers to do what comes naturally, it was really cool to have had my phone on me to capture this moment in time. As long as there's a bare patch somewhere in your yard, there's a place for them to get 'er done...
