I've been collecting rainwater for 15 years, & every time I install one there's a unique challenge because of its location. I LOVE this 250 gallon one because it's a short drop from the gutter into it, and of course the footprint is much smaller. Here in the city, our home is set quite a bit above the street on a street that is on a slight hill. So to prevent erosion from the overflow, I adapted the overflow for a hose to extends to the sidewalk and keep water from collecting on the property!
