Australian Mint Bush

Just LOVING how quickly our Australian Mint Bush has grown! First trying this out back on the farm, when we downsized to the city, I special ordered this and have zero regrets, as she is soooo gorgeous, don't you think? I planted it at about 30" high and it is now nearly full grown, at 5' with a supposed max height of 6' - and as you can see, looks really lovely against the cedar fence.

While it smells great and can be used as a savory herb (like a cross between thyme and mint, I've read), this is fortunately NOT a true mint, so there are no worries about it taking over your lawn (although I wouldn't mind a hedge of these now, would I...). It survived our Seattle winter into the upper teens and 20's, and is absolutely loving the afternoon sun here. Cannot recommend this one enough!!
