Tulip: “Palmyra"

Every tulip that blooms makes me say, “now THIS one is my favorite!"

But for real, I think this new one I’m growing in a pot on our front patio, Palmyra, is close. It’s this deep red chocolatey sensuality with more layers than your average tulip, reminding me of my longtime favorite lipstick, MAC’s Paramount, and giving me the respite I need.

And that’s it, with tulips...I’m a such goner...
