Absolutely one of the most gorgeous tulips I've ever seen, this huge "Menton" late single-stem variety of tulip is not only tall and graceful, but strong in the breeze. Looking it up, I found that in part shade it is pinker and in full sun it goes a bit apricot! How cool is that...
