One I've never paid too much attention to, Siberian Brunnera is the second (behind the daphne) out of the gate in the garden to blossom this year! While the temps have been near-psychotic this year, with winter kicking off in November and lasting through, well, now (last night was 36 degrees, the first of April! oy!), everything is behind schedule. So this, along with our nextdoor neighbor's Japanese cherry trees, finally in bloom - no matter how tiny - is a beautiful sign of the spring we've been waiting what seems forever to begin...
