Hello to my new favorite long-bloomer in the garden! Because the "Petite Jenny" is sterile, this ragged robin (lychnis) literally blooms from spring to fall if regularly deadheaded! I couldn't be more excited, as I planted these in two places, both where color was needed and both where the moisture in the soil was high (AKA at the base of slopes where it's not standing water, but it definitely gets that 'squish squish' after a rainstorm. I'd never heard of this one before and absolutely love discovering new flowers at the nursery, and during my quest to find new 'wet feet' plants, this one has proven to be one of our best performers...big time!
