Thinking these were going to be bigger and more obvious than they are, I planted three pink nodding onions a couple feet from each other. Whoops! They are quite delicate, and quite lovely, and definitely deserve to be planted en masse! Lesson learned!
But on a good note, they are definitely great additions to the Northwest garden, working well with a number of soil types and enjoying the moist soil the best, so I'm hoping they'll start to multiply on their own, because, hey, look at them! And the bonus is being an allium? No danger from ducks, rabbits, or any other critters, yay!
