My Planet: Barra De Potosi, Mexico

One of my first evenings walking the beaches of this small village outside of Zihuatanejo, and I couldn’t have been more at peace.

The second time I went to Zihua, I made the tragic mistake of booking a frou-frou villa in a different location, also not in town but unfortunately not in a village, not in anywhere with any character, and found myself completely out of sync.

Someday I’ll come back to Potosi and while the B&B I stayed at is no longer in business, perhaps the peace is still there awaiting us. It's not just the sunset that does that to the soul. There, in that community, I was safe. There, I was in my element. There, I exhaled.

May we all find spaces just like that on this planet.
