Mophead Hydrangea

When we bought this house last summer, the seller was in hospice, with her son as her agent, and while we weren't able to meet her because she was in her last days it turned out, the one thing I told him is to "please let her know we'll take good care of her hydrangeas" as they were absolutely the most lovely shrub in the front yard. Turns out there were actually THREE of the same in the front, and because of that, I decided to move two of them to different locations in our back garden to spread the flower love a bit.

We are fairly new to hydrangea growing, after a few early fails at our last place, and when we got here, it'd finished blooming so we had no idea what color(s) we were in for when this came into bloom. Initially it seemed to be we were getting a white hydrangea (the one kind that does NOT change color depending on the soil), but as it's fully blooming, the mophead appears to have lavender tips with a bit of yellow, so I'm not 100% sure what variety this is!

But it's pretty, no...?
