As soon as I buy a plant and get it into the ground, I automatically add it's name and location to my little quasi-database in Google Docs...but this one I'd completely forgotten about, and had to use the Lens feature on my phone to identify! (NOTE: I've found Google Lens to be *far* superior to the multiple plant identification apps out there...and it's free!). Turns out this baby is best suited for shade or part-shade gardens, but fortunately due to the odd assortment of light in our front yard, it's lucked out through this late spring's ups and downs, and is very much enjoying it's spot along our front path.
