Harvest: American Hazelnut “Bailey Select Purpleleaf"

I know, I know, it's only TWO of them. But if you've never grown nuts before? This is freakin' cool. The American Hazelnut shrub I planted on a whim this past spring, which gave me just a few blooms, has given us a couple of its 'fruit' - these two nuts. How cool is that?

And while they were small, they did taste just right...woo hoo!
