Oh how I love the eryngium! It doesn't exactly roll off the tongue gracefully, but oh how pretty they are...sharp and lavender and so interesting to look at!
One thing about eryngium is that they do NOT like to be transplanted - so set it 'n' forget it! They grow long taproots, and sometimes need to be staked like they are at our house here to deal with winds and such. But other than that? So very low maintenance...and a great addition to your drought-tolerant garden!
