Daylily: “Stella d’Oro"

Stella d'Oro is a little bitty lily relative to what I'm used to growing, but she's definitely low maintenance like the ones I've grown in the past! Only growing to about a foot tall, the three of these have just started blooming on our border in front of an evergreen shrub, and so far the ducks have ignored them (yay).

I've got a few kinds of lilies in our back garden, figuring out where they will thrive and where it might not work, and these are the first to bloom, so go figure! Again, like all things yellow, a great way to brighten up a drab spot in the garden...particularly along a gravel path.
