Harvest: Curing Garlic in the Greenhouse


On the farm, the first year I harvested around 90 heads of garlic. It. Was. Awesome. Unfortunately not the kind you could braid and store that way, so instead I peeled, minced and canned it...and started an annual habit! Initially I cured it in our greenhouse, but found that in our shadier barn it was a better idea (and rodents won't touch this stuff, trust me!).
