After suffering in a strangely inhospitable corner of our yard, last year I relocated this pretty columbine variety between a couple of my rose bushes, allowing it to enjoy the same sun as they do but also relax in their shade in the heat of the afternoon. The last of the columbines in our collections for me to share, this one is very compact - and very prolific. I've become better at remembering to deadhead them after blooming, which brings about even more flowers, and these are exceptional motivators!
