A member of the aster family, the pericallis - aka "Cineraria" - is one of those flowers that honestly looked fake to me at the nursery. But with a delayed onset of spring (dude, it was 38F last night, in mid April!), I needed some color and I needed it fast. Not usually one to buy annuals, this is definitely an exception as all the websites talk about how high maintenance this one is blah blah blah but hey...it looks good right now...
