Cool cool cool. So I thought our "Victoria" Ceanothus, the second one I added to our garden and a complement to the massive one already in the back that came with the house, was not getting the amount of sun it needed...but it turns out she's just a later-in-the-season bloomer! And with this, she's ensuring that we have California Lilacs blooming somewhere in our garden all the way from April through June (at least!). Boy are the bees happy, y'all...and so am I. The "Victoria" is one of the more popular varieties at nurseries (seems like that and "Dark Star" are everywhere...) and has really made up for it's 'late' debut in our garden along the fence. Yay for June Ceanothus!
